Spaghetti with Tuna Sauce

We have a simple but delicious recipe for pasta with tuna and parsley. You will need only spaghetti and few other ingredients to make this tasty Italian sauce.

This tuna pasta recipe is quick, healthy and comforting with only a few ingredients.

Spaghetti with Tuna Sauce



  • 500 g spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 30 g butter


  • 200 g can tuna
  • 50 g can anchovies
  • 250 ml cup olive oil
  • 60 g fresh parsley, chopped roughly
  • 150 ml ricotta
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pan of boling salted water, adding the olive oil. When it is almost tender, drain it in a colander and return to the pan. Add the butter, toss throughly to coat and keep warm.

  2. Drain tuna and anchovies from the oil and put together with olive oil and parsley into a blender or food processor. Add ricotta and process for a few seconds to blend. Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed.

  3. Pour the sauce over cooked spaghetti and toss quickly, using 2 forks. Serve immediately with warm, crusty bread.
