Flights from Italy to Croatia



There are now a very good number of flights from Italy to Croatia allowing a quick travel between these two countries. If you are trying to reach Dalmatia (Split or Dubrovnik) from Venice or perhaps Rome, flying is the quickest way of travelling.

There are also flights from Milan to several Croatian destinations. You can also fly directly from Sicilian city of Palermo to the port of 
Split in Central Dalmatia. Some of the mentioned routes operate year-round while other are only seasonal.

Flights from Northern Italy to Croatia

If you need to travel from northern Italy to Croatia there are a range of flights available. From Venice there are several flights to airports in Croatia with short flight times. Volotea and EasyJet have flights during summer from Venice to both Split and Dubrovnik while Croatia Airlines offers flights only to Dubrovnik. Silver Air Travels offers flights from Venice to the island of Mali Losinj in Kvarner.

From Milan Bergamo there are seasonal Volotea flights to the ports of Split and Dubrovnik while Ryanair flies to the port of Zadar in northern Dalmatia. Easyjet offers flights from Milan Malpensa to Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik. 

In addition to these flights, Croatia Airlines flies from the same airport to the Croatian capital - Zagreb. From Milan Linate Airport, which is situated only 8 km from Milan, you can fly to Dubrovnik with Alitalia.

Flights from Central Italy to Croatia

Rome is one of the most visited cities in Europe making the Fiumicino Airport one of the most busiest European airports. If travelling between Rome and Croatia, there are several airlines offering flights. Croatia Airlines operates flights between Rome and Dubrovnik, Split and Zagreb throughout the year.

Vueling Airlines flies between Rome Fiumicino and Croatian cities of Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar all year round. Alitalia has seasonal flights between Rome and Dubrovnik. In addition, Vueling offers flights between Florence and Split but only during the summer season.

For those who would like to take a ferry across the Adriatic, there are ferries between the port of Ancona (Marche region) and the port of Split in central Dalmatia. Travellers can choose from two companies - Jadrolinija which operates all year long while SNAV operates only during the summer season.

Flights from Southern Italy to Croatia

If you find yourself in the southern Italy and would like to travel to Croatia there are several options to do that. From the port of Bari (Puglia region) you can take Volotea's flight to the city of Dubrovnik in the southern Croatia. From Naples there are air connections to Dubrovnik and Split operated by Easyjet.

From Sicily there is 
Volotea's flight to the port of Split. Otherwise, there is seasonal (end of March until end of November) ferry connection between the ports of Bari and Dubrovnik run by Jadrolinija
